Meet Our Team
Owen J. Fisher
Owen Fisher is the founder and CEO of the J. Fisher Companies. Owen’s current responsibilities focus on the day-to-day management of the companies and specifically the leadership and vision relative to its growth.
Owen has over 22 years experience in private equity investing and specifically the financing, structuring and development of over 130 real estate projects to date. Owen started one of the main operating entities, JF Capital®, as a way for local and national investors to participate in private equity real estate. The J. Fisher Companies’ Full Integration Model™ has set the stage for its companies to exceed expectations in the communities they have the opportunity to work in.
Owen received his B.S. in sales and marketing from Weber State University and holds a CFP® designation from the American College. He also participates in national consulting and coaching at many different levels of business. In 2014, Owen received Utah’s 40 under 40 award for his involvement in Henry Walker Homes® and JF Capital®.
Owen was born and raised in Utah and is passionate about contributing to the growth and development of such a great state.

Steve Sandholtz is a managing partner at J. Fisher Companies. He heads the JF Capital Senior Living division. Steve works with both national and international partners as he grows the portfolio of senior living facilities. Steve is also actively involved in the JF Innovation division, which has developed leading edge technical processes for real estate acquisition.
Steve began his career in San Francisco, California as an asset manager for a multi-billion dollar real estate portfolio of office, retail and industrial properties. His investment experience began with the equity financing of two golf resort communities and continued, joining Fremont Realty Capital (FRC), the real estate investment arm of an $11 billion private investment company. As a Principal of FRC, Steve was involved in establishing the firm’s initial private equity offering, a $220 million real estate opportunity fund and was responsible for investments with market value in excess of $1.0 billion in a variety of sectors, but focused in seniors housing and multifamily.
Steve received his B.S. from Brigham Young University and his Masters of Business Administration from the University of California, Berkley.
Steve and his family reside in Utah.

Chad Bessinger is a managing partner at J. Fisher Companies. He leads the company’s land development entity, Jack Fisher Land Co. His team excels in the entitlement and development process of land pursuits in various asset classes including residential, commercial and multifamily deals. He actively pursues land projects throughout Utah and the surrounding states.
Chad has 18+ years of experience in the real estate industry in the areas of acquisition, underwriting, entitlement and development. During the latest real estate downturn, Chad led his team in purchasing 50+ loans collateralized by real estate throughout the intermountain west.
Chad graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelors of Science in business finance.
He and his wife and children live in Utah and are very active in youth sports.

Adam Paul is a partner at J. Fisher Companies. He co-founded the company’s multifamily division and manages all multifamily acquisition, development, and construction activities.
Prior to joining J. Fisher Companies, Adam worked as Managing Director of Paul Partners, a development and investment firm active in Utah and Arizona. Over his career he had directly managed the deal structuring, financing, entitlement, design, construction and exit strategies of residential and mixed-use projected valued at over $500 million and representing over 2,000 residential units.
Adam holds a B.A. from Brigham Young University and a Masters of Real Estate Development from Columbia University.
He and his family reside in Salt Lake City, where they enjoy all that the city has to offer.

Glenn Girsberger is a partner at J. Fisher Companies. His work involves both Olive West – the property management arm of the company – and JF Capital, where he is heavily involved in the operational development. Glenn is very active in the land acquisition process of the J. Fisher Companies including all aspects of financial analysis and valuation for potential projects.
Glenn has worked in the commercial real estate industry for the past 27 years. He has worked as an acquisition/disposition officer as well as an asset manager and developer with several large commercial real estate firms. He has managed a portfolio of multi-family assets with over 12,000 apartment units located throughout the United States and has also worked as a development partner for several LIHTC projects in the greater Salt Lake area.
Glenn received a Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University in business management/finance with minors in accounting and economics. He also studied law at Southwestern University School of Law.
Glenn and his wife have raised their children in Utah. He is actively involved in outdoor recreation including rock climbing, where he is a guide and instructor.

Chief Legal Officer
Mitchell Fielding is the Chief Legal Counsel. He manages all legal transactions for each entity within the J. Fisher Companies’ structure.
Prior to joining the company, Mitchell worked with successful real estate law firms, including Smith Hartivgsen, PLLC and McDonald Fielding, PLLC.
Mitchell graduated in the top of his class from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University, cum laude. During law school, he was part of the Moot Court team and clerked for the BYU Office of the General Counsel. Additionally, he interned for Justice Thomas Lee with the Utah Supreme Court and Judge Clark Waddoups with the Federal District Court. Mitchell obtained his undergraduate degree in Business Management, Real Estate Finance Emphasis.
He grew up on a farm, where, from a young age, Mitchell was taught how to work hard and do what it takes to accomplish any tasks before him. Practicing law was and always has been his passion. He is known for his hard work ethic, friendly personality and dedication to the law. In his free time, Mitchell enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, traveling and boating.
